The Public Sector Climate Action Mandate 2024 has outlined mandatory requirements for the public sector to:
Ensure all senior management and leadership undertake annual climate action leadership training.
Incorporate appropriate climate action and sustainability training (technical and behavioural, including green procurement training) into annual learning and development strategies for staff.
Organize annual staff workshops to engage on climate issues, including a focus on decreasing the organization’s carbon footprint.
The N-TUTORR project responded to these national requirements by providing funding for the 7 partner institutes to design, develop and roll-out climate literacy to leadership pathways for both staff and students.
