The Public Sector Climate Action Mandate 2024 has outlined mandatory requirements for the public sector to:

• Ensure all senior management and leadership undertake annual climate action leadership training.
• Incorporate appropriate climate action and sustainability training (technical and behavioural, including green procurement training) into annual learning and development strategies for staff.
• Organize annual staff workshops to engage on climate issues, including a focus on decreasing the organization’s carbon footprint.

The N-TUTORR project responded to these national requirements by providing funding for the 7 partner institutes to design, develop and roll-out climate literacy to leadership pathways for both staff and students.
